St John's City Lockup

Woke up starch naked surrounded by beer bottles. That ol konfusion can really do the job on ya. Not too bad of a place bit smelly but that's the deal you make with the liquor had a fun night there i think so 5 stars.

A middling jail experience - just like Johnny Cash I've been everywhere Man, and while hmp is pretty good, St John's City lockup is horrible. They got to do something about those lights on all the time, though for to-year door food and drink service three times a day, there are certainly worth holding cells in Canada. Try everywhere in ontario, for instance. Still treated with that new fee hospitality in there and while there are always a few bad apples in the bunch, the guards are all right. Or at least all the food is home cooked, and isn't pressure steamed like hospital food, or more accurately, private jail food While I've seen worse this is a step below the Holiday inn, and there's nowhere near Marriott levels of service. There were a few hot female COs there

Wasn't provided hygiene products for 8 days. Lights stay on 24/7, it's either too hot and too cold (no thermostat ). Food wasn't good and the coffee was terrible. 1/10. Suggest going out of town to commit crimes (Corner Brook lock up is much nicer).

Stayed here years ago for only one night. Had a bit to much to drink. The concierge service picked me up and brought me back. Very demanding that i get in the vehicle, but thats fine. Room was a bit airy and baron. Could use some tips from an interior decorator. Egg sandwhich i recieved for breakfast was probably a bit questionable to eat. They also had me miss my 8am appt and didnt let me go tell 9. Seemed to be upset from my ride back ther last night. Positives: great location in the heart of Downtown st johns. Probably won't stay again.
