Compassionate and brilliant, what more could you ask for in a law firm? New to the province and had them do my real estate closing. I have certainly found who I'll be using for any legal undertakings in the future. Wonderful people, great services and reasonable rates. Thank you!

Review based on my recent experience of having M&H work on a corporate amendment. Two stars for the reasons below: 1) There were a lot of errors in the amendment documents they prepared, such as wrong-spelling of shareholder name, unclear references in the amended Article of Incorporation, etc.. After I went through their work, I had to send a long email instructing all the errors to be fixed. I would expect the quality of being prudent as a basic for a law firm. 2) They never picked up the registered mail I sent and it was returned to me at the end. After they told me to send the package to them again, I decided to send it directly to the Registry of Companies, which seemed to be a more secured solution. I can understand delay in pickup due to the impact of pandemic, however, no pick-up for over a month was not expected. 3) They never provided a quote on the service fees even after I asked a couple times at the beginning of my inquiry. Fees charged was only disclosed on the final billing with a $75+tax admin fees on top of the service fee. I don't know what the admin fee is for; have never seen it on any other law firm's bills. This wasn't as a big deal as the first two points mentioned but I thought other people might be interested in knowing. Overall, substandard service. Two stars instead of one because at the end the work was done. However, I didn't expect such an experience, especially after I pointed out the exact items to be amended at the very beginning. I could have saved almost $500 if I have done it on my own.
