        I've crossed this point about a trillion times and not until I saw it on google maps just now did I really consider how this was the end. They have a whole park set up for where Terry Fox started his run and not even a measly sign for this, which you could argue is more important.

        Am I there?? Did I make it? Guess we will never know. Over 7000 km. Nothing. Did you know that the promise of this hiway ( with ferry service to Cape Breton) was a contributing factor in Newfoundland joining Canada? Did you know that at the western end of the trans Canada hiway , there is a plaque, and parking? Did you know that at the half way point, Chippewa falls, Ontario, there is a plaque and parking? Does anyone know who Dr. Doolittle is? So much history of our country is connected to this hiway. Well, when I get there again, in June. I'm bringing my own spray paint, make my own plaque.
