It is a very dangerous place to visit. You should avoid this place. There are roving gangs of young people there and along the trails surrounding that verbally harrass and intimidate visitors. These 'children' will shout comments like 'rat' and will blatantly accuse you of being a paedophile even while being supervised by parents and I suspect at the behest of their parents. When you confront them on their behavior they will play innocent and call the police on you. This kind of thing is not limited to the park. If you visit any public place in St. John's or Mount Pearl you will almost certainly be targetted by gangbangers and their associates who are more than willing to harrass you and then call the police when you say anything to them. z/z
