Lakecrest Independent School

I went to Lakecrest as a student for 10 years. So did my older brother. It's been 2 years since my family left the Lakecrest community. I absolutely loved the whole school community and how everyone felt like a family. The school community is so welcoming and I miss that about going to Lakecrest. One of the things I miss most, is how kind the teachers are. I wouldnt have wanted to spend my ten years in any other school.

I went to this school from grade five to grade seven. I had a great time and was often ingaged when learning. I only realized how good the school was after I left and got a worse experience at another school. Class sizes are great and teacher really care about the students.

A friend of mine with three children just moved to the St Johns area and I imagine the school is fairly close to all who live in St Johns. Im encouraging him to enroll his children into your Steiner/Waldorf school because my own daughter went to a Waldorf school, the East Bay Waldorf school in El Sobrante, California K -12. The Waldorf curriculum is a wonderful one, and fortunately now in many of the states there are now public, non private Waldorf schools too.
