Visiting from Toronto and tried a few places downtown and this was a total miss for us. High Price and small portions just make it not worth it. Michael (our server) was absolutely fantastic which is why this review is 2 stars and not 1. We were 4 adults and 2 kids . The bill was $180 and all of us were still hungry after. Lobster roll special was tasty , smash burger was average - neither worth the high price and marketing hype. I imagine most ppl would need to order min 3 entrees for 2 people. Many better choices on the street IMO..

Food is tasty but small serving sizes and quite pricey for what you get. Service was okay, had to hunt down the server to get refills and our bill (only 2 other tables seated at the time we were)

The food and service at The Crab Shack are all top rated again this year . The NL oyster, snow crab, lobster, shrimp and tuna were simply perfection and the beverage service was superb. It is always a joy to dine alfresco at the Crab Shack on the Water Street summer pedestrian mall. Thank you to Jeremy and Jeremy.
