The historical society has done a first rate restoration on a number of buildings in Trinity! We toured the Lester Gardner House. The Garland family were a very successful & prominent British family who operated a large fishing fleet and processing operation in Trinity in the early 1700 s. Their home was very elegant for its time!

(Translated by Google) Visiting local buildings is $15 and provincials is $6 or $20 for both. We did the $15 tour in two hours. The quality of the exhibits sometimes leaves something to be desired. Blacksmithing and cooperage are recommended. In this tour three of the four buildings have souvenir items.

This is a must stop if you plan to visit Trinity. The staff is full of stories and make the visit much more complete. This is a beautiful little town but without the history it's just that a beautiful little town and nothing more.
