Mira Ferry Convenience Store

Ordered the Fisherman's Platter. Asked, and was told, that the clams were whole body (not strips) and that it was all homemade on premises. Got home to find out the clams were clam strips, fish was 3/4 batter, scallops were the battered, frozen kind fries were soggy and the food was lukewarm at best, like it had been sitting around on the counter for a long time. Most disappointing meal I've had in years. Ended up eating the shrimps, scallops and throwing the rest into the trash.

I am from the Mira and I am so happy Missy's is here, right by my house! Wkd tradition to go to go for breakfast (yummiest sausages & toast:) Room with a view. Their clubhouse sandwich is the best. Theresa & Warren are the wonderful owners. Lots of coffee, staff is really nice at the restaurant and convenience store part.

Missy's is located inside. Drive slowly or you may miss a great meal. Stopped for gas and was surprised to find Missy's. Although midafternoon the breakfast was a welcome feast after a long day. Service was prompt and the food made to order. Very nice view of the Mira River while eating. The convenience store is well stocked with fresh baked goods. Small but comfortable and most importantly very well maintained and decorated.
