Annapolis Community Health Centre

I just went to the Annapolis Community Health Centre as it was listed as open from 8am-8pm. However when I got there I was told it was closed. When I called to alert the staff to this situation I was told I should have looked at the Emergency Closures page. I had not known about the page. Maybe the hospitals should address this problem so that the first page of their website is always accurate.

I called to see if I get a refill by phone because I had a very bad cold receptonist told me there were no appointments available until Dec. 16 so I agreed. The drugstore was kind enough to give me one month of meds. The receptionist asked would I like to call in or visit??? I said I would come in at 2pm on the 16th. About an hour later she called back and cancelled my appointment No reason apparently IDK what is wrong with those people. Why are they working there? Why do they have to be so nasty. For xxxxxx sake why can't they just help someone!!!!

Amazing staff and service ! Everyone was caring and considerate. Dr. Chris Stone went way above the services anticipated. He politely and attentively answered all my questions and more. Solved three issues in one visit and was back in my car before my appointment time. Awesome reception from all.

No idea why they built this clinic as it has been closed for months and has been frequently closed during my last five years here. I dont understand why the receptionists answer the phones without being armed with information. I can only guess the government requires that a receptionist be placed there. They are sound so bored and disinterested when you call them. They are of no help and they dont care. I moved here from another province. My specialists all had prescribed medications for me. When I went to see the clinic here, they cut two medication dosages in half because they personally didnt want to prescribe them. No medical explanation, they just didnt want to. They will give you the bare minimum of care if you come in with symptoms. My blood pressure was high. I asked if they could treat it. I was told Id need a family physician to follow it, they should prescribe it (they know that I dont have one.)
