Every time I get food from Lins which is almost every week I am so pleased! Their pan fried dumplings are absolutely delicious and have become my favourite meal! I highly recommend this restaurant!!

Having recently moved to Antigonish, this is the second Chinese food establishment I've tried. I walked in for the order and had my order promptly taken and food ready within 15 mins. Very courtious staff. I ordered two different combo plates and an order of sweet and sour shrimp. Ok...on to the food. When I opened the box of shrimp, my wife thought they were donuts. They were huge, but it was just an illusion (see pics). When I bit into one, it was all dough. Eventually, I struck protien, a disappointing small shrimp that was sliced in half longways. It was dry and flavorless. I think these things were in a freezer far beyond a reasonable amount of time. Even if they were fresh, there is no value here. It's just a box of deep fried dough with very little old, tasteless shrimp. The egg rolls were average at best. They were soggy and lacked any real fresh taste. The chicken fried rice has an odd oily taste. I'm not sure what they fried the rice in, but it wasn't to my liking. The egg rolls, like the shrimp noted above where too doughy. It took a while to find a nugget of chicken. The taste was ok and the best of what we had, but we ended throwing 60% of the content out. Again, no value here, just expensive dough. The chowmein was also oily and not fresh tasting. It too looked old and beyond its peak freshness. This is not the place for me. The food is too oily, doughy, and lacks fresh flavour. The staff it great but doesn't make up for the quality of food served.
