My husband, 7 year old daughter and myself had breakfast here at about 10am on a Tuesday. It was very quiet, with maybe only 3 other tables occupied. We were seated promptly and our lovely waitress Eddy took our drink order of 2 coffees and a hot chocolate. The drinks came within 5 minutes. The hot chocolate was especially good, the coffee is nothing special. Eddy promptly returned for our meal order and offered suggested additions, such as cheddar on the breakfast potatoes, which I agreed to because CHEESE. My daughter asked for whipped cream on her pancakes with fruit and Eddy was happy to oblige. Our food came out about 10 minutes later. Eggs, bacon, potatoes, blueberry pancakes, toast and fruit. Everything was delicious, most notably the potatoes, and large portions except the eggs. 2 eggs was a small serving, but cooked well. The only critique? The food was not hot, in spite of coming quickly. Serving on heated plates would help with that. Eddy was never far away and came quickly to clear dishes and bring the bill. She is a gem! We will be back for sure. Kid-friendliness: Great kids menu with pictures to make it easier to order, and generous portion sizes. Pancakes didn't come with whipped cream but my daughter asked and it was no problem, plate came out with beautiful flowery dollops of whipped cream. Crayons are provided to colour the paper menu.
