It's hard to put into words the gratitude I feel towards this school and its staff. I have three children here in grades 8, 5, and 3 who have all attended since kindergarten. The teachers are dedicated to their students in a profound way that is humbling to witness. You can see that they are fully invested in nurturing these children as they grow, and it shows! Visitors to the school note how the children are so vibrant, curious, and engaged. Most importantly, all my kids LOVE school! They don't want to miss a day. The are learning a love of learning. They are learning to be kind and to do the right thing. They are learning to take initiative and be self-directed. They are developing emotional intelligence. As a parent, I hear stories from other parents and children at other schools, and I just think "wow, we are so lucky to have this school!" It is truly a gem. The other parents are great too, and there is a nice sense of community. I can't recommend this school enough!

Bullying was such a problem here, teachers wouldn't do anything about it. It was frustrating to see how they would completely ignore kids who were being treated unfairly.

I schooled here for six years and am on my third year away. I am still overcoming mistreatment by teachers and students, and am still frequently harassed by students over social media. I was taught no social skills and nothing of mental health. Rules placed for the students mental health were flexible to the point that they were almost non existent. Teachers shamed me for my art skills when I was 11-12 and disregarded any accusations when made. I was bullied for six years and teachers around me taught me that it was normal. Do not send your kids here

We have been with the school now for 3 years, in the junior and senior kindergarten programs. My two children are doing very well. The warm and "homey" environment makes them so comfortable.
