I had the privilege of staying at the Glooscap B&B in mid September of this year. Jake (and his father) were the ultimate hosts ensuring that everything that I needed was at my disposal; including great company and directions and recommendations if required. It is the perfect spot if you are looking for an off the beaten path place to stay! As a woman travelling on my own, they made me feel welcome, comfortable, and safe. Jakes options for breakfast all look delicious, however, I can say without a shadow of a doubt that his smoothies and his breakfast sandwich were scrumptious! If you have time to walk around the property, it is breathtaking. Apple and pears are at your fingertips in early fall to pick and enjoy through your day! The paths along the garden in the front of the home provide a dream for photographers an the smell of wildflowers fills your senses. There is plenty of space for stargazing or a picnic so stop in town to pixk up some wine and finger food for a romantic evening. At low tide, the beach has plenty of secrets it reveals including great photo moments, lovely views of the cliffs of Blomidon park and some great close ups of the colours of the sea floor! I cant wait to go back for another visit!

Close enough but far enough! Staying with & being looked after by Jake was simply awesome! 2 nights sure wasnt enough to soak up the beautiful property & close beach, or the relaxing atmosphere. Everything was very clean & Jake was super easy to deal with - before & during my stay. Lots of activities to entertain you or simply enjoy nature. Wanted more time there! Thanks Jake - hope u get many more customers - they will love it, as I did& be very satisfied, as I was.
