NAPA Auto Parts - Cheticamp Auto Parts Ltd

My son's and I were visiting Inverness and the night before our return to Hamilton Ontario the alternator on our vehicle quit. A local service station in Inverness told me it would it would be 4 days to get one from Montreal and a used one would be 3 to 4 days. I had commitments in Hamilton on Friday and this was Wednesday morning. I placed one phone call to Napa in Cheticamp and spoke to Claude and explained my problem. He didn't hesitate and looked up my alternator and told me he could have a new one in his store the next day for half the price I heard from the local service center. He said between 11 am and noon the next day. We arrived at 11 but due to deliveries that day the part did not arrive until 1 pm. Claude kept apologizing for the delay, a problem he had no control over. When the part arrived he matched the new part to the old to ensure it was the right one. We were able to get the new one in and be on the road with only a 24 hour delay. It was a huge problem that Claude was able to correct for us the next day. He was happy that he was able to help, but I don't think he realized how much he helped. People like Claude don't see them selves as heroes but that day he was our hero. We almost got stuck in middle of travelling. Thank you the staff in NAPA, young man who helped us to find the proper oil filter and even came to check our suitable engine oil to give auto mechanic suggestions. I want to thank James, the local auto mechanics behind Mr. Chicken as well for him EXPERIENCED service, these great people since last century must provide this local rural community great help.
