Finally on March 7th 19 weeks after ordering date my cap was finally installed. We looked it over quick in shop as I had to leave quickly to go to work. On my way to work I stopped for coffee and noticed the cap had a scratch and a dent. I told Eric and his reply was I viewed the shop cameras and couldnt see them on the cameras. No one would be able to notice a scratch or dent on any shop camera especially under fluorescent lighting Upon getting home from work and locking up for the night is when I noticed the lock on the back of the cap does not lock. I was leaving for a trip at this time so my partner brought the truck in to have the dent/scratch looked at and the lock mended. Mike told us if it was not resolved that a new door would be ordered for us to have installed. Nothing was done about the scratch/dent or lock. We were told the lock was fixed but it was not.
I contact Eric to let him know while away on my trip and was told a new door would not be ordered. I couldnt make an appointment as soon as arriving home as I had to catch up on work first. Within a week from returning home the shocks for the back door fail and are no longer useable and also causing damage to the weather stripping on the back door. The shocks failed with only two weeks of use (as I was away and the truck was sitting).
We had the shocks replaced and fixed for the time being but its only a temporary fix as we wait for more parts. Which means yet another trip to the city to have it mended. Thatll be 4 trips to action for this cap (a total of 8 hours of driving) missed work and time wasted. I will need to purchase more caps in the future and Action will not get my business again. Not for the failed product/wait times or even the confusion regarding invoices, itll be for the complete absence of communication from the sales associate and the amount of effort required to just have a conversation with a manager.

It was on in about 30 min and the young man at the counter said no charge
I'll be back to get more truck parts on the near future
