Tic Tac Go Escape Room and Games

This place is amazing! And the rooms decor is out of this world. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. They remembered us as soon as we came in. The clues made lots of sense and followed a pattern, which helped us escape (I love the feeling). They are also about to close as they need to relocate. Go show your support and give them lots of love!. Go try every room! You wont regret it.

Absolutely AMAZING escape room experience, I tried so many different rooms at different places around Halifax, but the Magical Room at Tic Tac Go beats them all. Without spoiling much, the room was so technologically advanced unlike anything Ive seen, and the puzzles/missions were very creative and got my mind working. They werent the simple find the number combination locks, but instead were more innovative and out of the box. The couple who runs the place were lovely people, and the atmosphere was very homey with lots of puzzles and game boards you can purchase. I am definitely coming back to play the Escape your Death room very soon.

My first experience here a few years back was great. We could tell that the partners who ran the business were excited to show off the set design and the upcoming ideas, and a lot of love and care was put into the room we played (Train Heist). We've played 20+ rooms now, so we had high expectations for our first escape post-pandemic when we booked the big 75 minute Escape Your Death room. Unfortunately, our second visit here was so disappointing, in more than one way. There were no greetings, small-talk, smiles or excited pep-talk, and I felt like we were interrupting their day. They just briefly went over bare-minimum rules and we went into the room, which was basically a series of plywood boxes with strobe lights inside, and a lot of crawling on hands and knees back and forth. The site mentions crawling, but I really wish they would have mentioned something about super-flashing lights or the loud sound effects. We realized after that they had kneepads, but we were never offered them, so definitely feeling sore today. The room wasn't set up correctly (a key was forgotten in a lock and I ended up working on a puzzle long enough that they told me to forget about it). The tech/mag locks in the room were iffy (I used to work in an escape place so I do empathize with using iffy tech), and the momentum in the room was broken up with a lot of crawling back and forth while working on very linear puzzles. When we got out, it was a relief that the chore was done. And the game master wasn't around to even see us out. It was the entirely opposite experience that we had the first time with Train Heist. Anyway, two years ago we would have recommended it, but it feels like the passion and love is totally gone for the business, which just makes me feel bad. So, unfortunately, can't recommend this one.

We had an amazing experience in the dragon egg room. It's as good as it sounds. The owners are also wonderful. Highly recommend. Unfortunately they are forced to move due to renovations and rent increase so visit while you can.
