The experience of losing a loved one is always painful, and it being my mother was extremely painful. Jaynes Funeral Home was of the upmost help and comforting in the process. The compassion of the employees at Jaynes Funeral Home in Digby NS was wonderful, they helped us through the process all the way to the end. The funeral itself was small, but the peace and serenity was warm and comforting. Thank you from the Mellor family for all you have done. There was so much care and attention to detail every step of the way, we were blown away! The entire team was so supportive and caring, they turned the most devastating event of our lives into a healing experience. They took incredible care of my Dad and made every moment of our experience special. Even when we picked up his ashes, I expected a football style hand off, but they placed the ashes in a private room with candles to honor the significance and gravity of the situation. The entire team was extraordinary every step of the way, from initial meeting to after care support, they have been there every step of the way. I don't know what we would have done without them.
