Shooters Bar & Grill

After asking a local for suggestions, I stopped into the shooters bar and grill for a snack. I had a beer and the seafood chowder. The beer was brought in a bottle but when I asked for a glass I was presented with a large thick frosty mug which was a welcomed surprise. Why wouldn't they always serve it this way? The waitress was a little matter of fact but then maybe so was I. The chowder wasn't my favorite. The broth was bland with a taste of milk and flour. Some salt and pepper helped bring it to life. The shrimp were a little dry maybe rubbery and somewhat tasteless, but surprisingly I did enjoy it overall, especially given the price at $7.99; it's hard to be. It's a large establishment that can serve lots of people and there was a big gathering when I was there. It was a little noisy but most people seemed to be enjoying themselves. I would certainly consider a second visit.

Went yesterday for dinner. Our server was very rude and miserable (made us feel unwelcome), the atmosphere wasnt great with no music, and the wings were not great. No reason to return.
