My daughter's compact fridge (made by Danby) died in her University Dorm room. It was a slow process regarding warranty coverage because I lost the receipt. Once I was able to get a copy of the receipt from the place of purchase, Danby advised that Cal Tech is an authorized Service Centre for their appliances. When I called Cal Tech, a lady named Deb answered. She was fantastic. She sent a Technician the next day, and unfortunately, the Technician confirmed the fridge could not be repaired. It has to be exchanged at the store. I am very happy with Cal Tech's quick service, and with Deb, the lady answering the phones. She was a pleasure to deal with.

I had some rust on my fridge's doors, and it was covered by the manufacturer, cal-Tech was the company who replaced them. 2 month later I noticed the ice is building up in the freezer, called Cal-Tech, the lady who I talked to was really rude, she informed me that there are 30 days warranty after the job is done. I mentioned that no one did tell me that it was the case, she said it was on the receipt,but i did not get a receipt, she said that is because I did not pay for the service and have no right to complaint about the job they did on the fridge. will not get them for any job, and very unhappy.
