I HAVE BEEN OUT OF EMAIL SERVICE FOR 3 DAYS NOW FOR ME THE SAY JUST TWO FOR YOU AND I WILL BE ANOTHER DAY . MAY BE MORE ? THIS IS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I EVER HAD . THERE IS NO NEED OF IT JUST TO RESET MY WEB MAIL . I THINK MR. BRAGG NEED TO BE INFORMED OF THE TERRIBLE SERVICE . I'M PAYING FOR THIS SERVICE AND NOT GETTING . HELP ASAP !!

STAY AWAY. Eastlink is like the Hotel California-- they make it nearly impossible to leave. My service was 'adequate'-- not great, especially considering I was on a higher speed plan, but my monthly charges kept climbing and climbing. I eventually switched to Purple Cow-- the most bargain plan they have- and have far better and stable internet service than when with Eastlink. THIS, however, is why I say 'stay away': When I decided to leave, the day I cancelled my service, I bundled up my modem and wifi booster in the same box and took it to Canada Post. Maybe 6 months later, I received an overdue payment notice. I phoned and was told it was for unreturned equipment. I told them it had been returned. They said someone would call back. A week later, I called again. Same conversation, same promise to look into it and promise to call back. Then I receive a notice that it's being sent to collections. I called back. Same conversation, same promise. They told me that the wifi boosters were returned, but not modem. They agreed to pause on sending it to a collections agency. I explained that this was their error since it was all in the SAME BOX. No phone call back. Called a week later but asked to speak with a supervisor. Same conversation, no call back FROM THE SUPERVISOR, who promised to call back within 2 days. I waited a week. Then I found the proof of mailing. I call again. Same conversation-- now I'm wielding proof and they still deny I returned the modem. This went on for over six weeks (not once did they call back after the "we'll check with the warehouse" promise.) My hard-earned credit rating on the brink of being ruined, I called them out on Twitter and suddenly they were very attentive (but also whisked me off to a DM, out of public view). Guess what? They DID have the modem AND...drumroll...they OWED ME $19. I should have sent a collections agency after them, but my only recourse for this infuriating, nightmare experience, is to share it in a review. Here's the kicker. I've heard the identical story from a few other people.
