Dr. Skinner took action after 8 months of misdiagnosis and delay by family doctors and had me in surgery the same day he got my results back. The follow up care was just as great. Best medical care I have received in Canada!

My husband had scheduled surgery for tomorrow. We live out of province so we had to book accommodations for the few days we had to be in Halifax. We arrived at the hospital for his pre-registration this afternoon as he had an appointment for blood work at 3:30pm. My husband then noticed he had a vm, the surgeon's office had called at 2:38pm advising us the surgery had been cancelled and asking us to call them back. We find out that their office closes at 2:30pm so when we called back at 3pm (when we received the message) there was no one that would be answering. They called him earlier in the day to confirm everything. Now we are stuck paying for our accommodations and gas to get here for a surgery that is no happening tomorrow and will be stuck paying it again whenever they do reschedule.
