We were thoroughly impressed by Darya, all around. For Halifax restaurants at this price point, I found the quality, prices and portions to exceed expectations. Oliver was our waiter, and he was fantastic and very knowledgeable about the food. The menu is best enjoyed mezze-style with shared plates. Two of us shared the bread and olives, smoked eggplant, steak carpaccio, and Cauliflower Shashuka. All of the dishes were incredible, and we were stuffed. And the ambiance, decor and view are perfect. Really a wonderful restaurant!

Very disappointed in our evening. Great location, atmosphere. Lots of staff however the food, drinks and check out process were not up to the price point. Crispy sardines were soggy, rice and vegetables were cold and 4 out of 6 Kebabs were over cooked to the point there was no taste. Drink orders were mixed up and all 3 bills were wrong with overcharges for drinks and mixed up food. We were asked about our experience but when we told them about the problems they did nothing to recover. Will probably give them another chance but if you advertise as being one of the best and have a high price point you need to deliver. They didnt.
