Am beyond saddened over giving the current Premier this kind of review. But after having moved here from Quebec 3 years ago - I am stunned to have experienced the absolute corporate abuses Nova Scotians are being subjected to from Health Care to Communications -to Food and pretty much ALL retail products that are at minimum DOUBLE and in most cases TRIPLE what they are in other Provinces across the country! Bell Aliant/Bell Media pretty much being the worst offender that has been gifted a 'free for all to do whatever they like, charge whatever they like - abuse their CAPTIVE AUDIENCE - however and whenever they like with NO recourse available to anyone - because for some insane reason - competition is unavailable - period! Food prices - Senior services (although presented as superior - is anything but. Hospital Emergency wards & administrators are a nightmare - doctor shortages obscene with patients forced to travel 3-4 hours to Halifax to see a specialist - patients WITH family doctors being told they can't be seen no matter what their condition is for up to 7 WEEKS!!! Meaning OUR Canadian Health Act is being flagrantly violated. I mention this because - looking at the "Ministers In Charge of these portfolios".... have NO background in the Ministry they've been gifted to oversee! Shame On You Premier for totally destroying any faith I had left in The Liberal Party and for instead of enhancing our lives - you are making it far more difficult and in far too many cases life threatening!
