        In 2019, I spent the first two nights of a 2 week backpacking trip here. I remember I almost didn't get a bed because of a miscommunication error between the staff member I spoke to on the phone when I called prior to my trip, and the staff member working the front desk when I arrived; it all worked out in the end, thank god. Being my first time staying at a hostel, I was a little nervous, as I heard negative stories; however the staff and fellow travelers staying there were all super friendly and gave me a warm welcome to the east coast.

        I used to live right across this hostel for a little over a year and I constantly heard very loud excessive coughing, spitting, swearing and music from what I assume are guests from this hostel. I would never recommend anybody to stay here if they allow such obnoxious behaviour at all hours of the day. I can only imagine what its like inside the building.
