Beautiful hotel, rooms were inviting, clean and quiet. Great views from hotel including the roof top harbour view terrace. Located near many attractions and only steps away from the water!

This was our first time staying at this hotel.The staff were all polite and friendly. We booked a 1bdrm suite for 2 nights, and the layout of the room was great. Very spacious, with a balcony off of the bedroom. However, it seemed as though maintenance on the balcony was left incomplete. Pulled up floor boards were left in the corners, and we had a patio table without chairs. The rooms next to ours had tables and 2 chairs. I called front desk for chairs the night of check in, but they were never delivered. Inside, the sitting chairs were very wobbly. This could have been corrected with a simple tightening of the legs before the guest checks in. The bathroom door handle stuck, and would not close or lock. Fridge was barely cool, with no dial to adjust tempurature. Not a huge deal on its own, but the small issues add up. Other reviews complained about noise, but it is what should be expected in a downtown area. The location was perfect, and within a short walk to shopping, restaurants, the boardwalk and water. The water in the swimming pool looked thick and cloudy, so we did not get in. The hot tub water was clear, and heated perfectly. Reception later advised, the pool looked that way as a result of them putting baking soda in the water. The hotel parking was conveniently underground, but very tight and limited space. I gave the stay 2 stars, because it felt that for the money we paid, the room could have been better prepared. However, when checking out, the receptionist asked how the stay was, and what they could have done better. She apologized for the issues and seemed genuine. That, to me is worth at least another half star.
