Their rating of 2.2 is higher then what I would have thought. Never helped us with a lot of rotten walls from water leak telling us they don't cover poor workmanship.

This warranty is a farce! Four, one star reviews on their Facebook page. If you identify issues at closing and the builder refuses to fix them they will not help you so in our opinion they are useless! We have badly scratched stairs due to the builder's neglect, identified at closing. The builder FH agreed in writing that they would fix them and then refused. We nearly didn't close on the day because of this but we had to proceed due to the fact we had booked our movers and had someone moving into our sold property. Atlantic Home Warranty is useless! Look at the other reviews on their Facebook page.

They did everything possible to find exclusions and ways to not cover issues they were responsible to cover as our builder went out of business. They used Ramar as repair contractor who were friendly enough when working on site, but left a mess, paint on floor and never heard from anyone when work was completed. There were discussions of quality of product used when repairs were being made and when confronted with Atlantic Home Warranty on issue they denied it was ever said. When we got them back to see ongoing issues my wife felt belittled by both as there were constant gestures between them and spoke down on her. There is a 10' crack in our ceiling that has already been repairs once, and doors won't properly open/close year round. Horrible to deal with. The list could go on. As a follow up turns out because of this negative review and similar email response to Atlantic Home Warranty AHW has terminated our contract. When approached with written proof from manufacturers installation not done properly turned me away and said Not sure why you are even here. Your contract has been terminated This from one of their recognized agents. Not sure how they can decide themselves they can terminate contract and no longer offer warranty.
