When moving to Halifax, I had planned far ahead to ensure that I was following proper protocol entering the province. I had booked this "car service" weeks in advance, requested an SUV because of the amount of luggage I had, and I was arriving late at night so I had sent the address and all information far in advance to ensure that when I landed, the transition was seamless.... HOWEVER it was anything BUT.
This is one AWFUL man in a van, as soon as I got into the vechicle (which was FILTHY) he immediately tried to change the price that I had previously received. He threatened to drop me back off at the airport and leave me there, when I eventually caved (in tears) he then proceeded to drive towards my destination but then (40 minutes into this nightmare drive) said he had no idea where he was going, the address I had given him was not coming up on google maps (the entire reason I had sent it weeks before to ensure he knew where it was since I had never been there and it was the middle of the night) he berated me and made me feel awful for being new to the province, I ended up having to call a friend at 2 am to get directions, and once we arrived I pulled out my visa to pay for this awful experience ( I had confirmed before hand that this was accepted) and he snapped, he threw my luggage out of the car, wished me bad karma all because he expected CASH for an amount he invented when he picked me up that night.
He barely wore a mask, it did not cover his nose which made me isolating also redundant, and I have NEVER been spoken to or treated like this by someone in this scenario in my life.
Beware, because this is just one man with one trash van, he operates under different names. Do your research, read reviews and make sure you know who is picking you up. Service: Limousines
