First impression of the restaurant was a cozy and hygienic space that is less suitable to small-minded children that need to be entertained. Call the babysitter, because you're in it to win it. You're about to have pizza thrown in that stretched face hole you call a mouth. This is a single-table restaurant that needs to be booked in advance. People have been known to stay for weeks at a time, although I'm not entirely sure how that works. Upon entering this charming space, we were welcomed by the bartender who made us a fantastic cocktail, to which my response was "this is a fantastic cocktail." I can't be certain, but the chef and bartender might be 'involved', which may violate the Code of Conduct....but I digress. Next thing I know, the chef is whipping dough balls throughout the dining area but thanks to 20 years of high-level gymnastics, I avoided taking a garlic finger to the eye. My partner was not so lucky. The table acts as the prep station and creates an intimate environment... which leads me to the chef. My God. The man's hairline is more fortified than Carcassonne with hair as dense as the Nicaraguan Rain forest. This may or may not be relevant. He's the kind of chef that will toss a recipe book at ya, mention some esoteric yeast, and serve you a slice that stays true to authentic Italian traditions. I personally enjoyed the chocolate-banana pizza. 5/5, highly recommended.

Love Paulito's Retreat! Amazing coffee, pizza, and sandwiches - Food is without a doubt 10/10, even though the pizza crust is too high and kind of cuts the roof of your mouth. Great company from the staff too - The Italian sous chef provides keg service with dutch beer but is pretty rude, with a terrible beer to foam pouring ratio, and has funny hair. Although there was tuna water all over the floor and fridge from the cats resulting in a fishy stink, I still rate this place 5 STARS!

Amazing Food!! Beds need to be renewed!! Overall 5/5 Update: coffee in the morning is good but not a lot of attention to the client. Handle was on the opposite side. Update 2. We tried a pizza night and it was amazing. Chef is very experienced, he lived in Congo Belga and learned the techniques of the real pizza. Overall still very good. Update: OMG!!! FIRST TIME I ASK FOR A PIZZA WITH SOPPRESSATA AND I RECEIVE A SOPPRESSATA NOT SPICY AT ALL!!! FAIL! Kitchen was a mess. Everyone was sxxxrtxxxixg.
