Don has provided around the clock support through the process of buying my first home, and has been available and happy to assist with any issues that arose afterwards. Don is amazing !! He came highly recommended , and we don't regret hiring him & his team to sell our home of 28 years. He has an innate ability to make you feel like you are his #1 priority , and that you can totally trust him. He is knowledgeable, understands the market, and is very strategic. He is personable, listens , guides, and truly had our best interest at heart. Communication was excellent. From day 1 he was extremely prompt to respond to emails/calls. He answered all of our questions with great respect & patience, and re-assured us when needed. He understands the stress and emotions of selling & moving , even provides a hug at times :) He truly goes way above and beyond , and stays in touch regularly even after his job is done. Don, Jamie & team set the bar high for all other realtors. We can't recommend them enough !

When we decided to explore the idea of selling our home, the first step was to find someone in our area who came well-recommended. Don McCooeye was the favourite hands down! We could tell from our initial meeting that he would do his very best to work with us to sell our house and make it as seamless and stress-free as possible. His professionalism, vast knowledge and expertise, and his interpersonal skills were second to none. Don was an absolute pleasure to work with, always quick to respond to our many queries. He was very thorough in his explanations, and he truly had our best interests at heart! He also went the extra mile to put us in touch with mortgage brokers, lawyers, etc. We would not hesitate to work with Don again, and we cant thank him enough for all he did for us. Anyone looking for a hardworking, dedicated agent, take our advice and give him a call. Youll be happy you did!

Don and his team have been unbelievably helpful with selling our home. His knowledge from personal experience with military type relocation really assisted us in our first move and I personally couldnt have managed this process without his support. He was attentive and thorough in every aspect, including sitting down with me and discussing his market analysis so that I understood his approach and price point. They coordinated staging and photography and even offered wonderful recommendations for lawyers who had experience with our circumstances. Don was readily available whenever we needed and took extra care including my spouse, who was away for training the entire time. He understood we needed a stress free sale and delivered with multiple offers. We ultimately accepted the first and closed two months later! When we eventually return to Nova Scotia in the years ahead, well definitely be looking for their expertise again.

We reached out to Don as first-time homebuyers with an interest in a specific property (we werent on the market, but found this opportunity we didnt want to let pass us by). Don rapidly responded to us, and our endless questions. As first-time homebuyers his communication skills were very helpful. He was willing to take his time and walk us through each step of the process. We do better with more information, and he made the time to explain everything. He managed our expectations very clearly and the things he described in our initial discussions were exactly what happened on home inspection, offer, legal review and closing. Having such clarity really helped us in the process. Don basically never stops he just goes and goes and goes (in your best interest). He made himself available and never made us feel like we were anything but valued clients. He gave guidance, but never felt like he was imposing he gave suggestions and strategies, but it was clear the decisions were ours to make and we were free to pursue whatever option suited us best. His negotiation strategies with the selling party were very effective, his ability to work with other agents, and his understanding of what is reasonable meant he could represent our interests, but also ensure everyone would be satisfied with the deal. He also didnt over-stretch his area of expertise or responsibilities as a real estate agent, but helped us shape questions for the other parties involved in the process. When something needed to be a lawyer-question or bank-question he helped prepare us to get the information we needed. Don also brings a network of regular contacts that he trusts in the industry, and we were happy with the services they offered. We are so grateful to have had the chance to work with Don on such a significant life decision and will recommend Don to our friends and family.
