Moxies Bayers Lake Restaurant

I always go here and last night wasnt terrible but.. they asked us if dinning room was fine, absolutely it is. But they took us by all these open booths with some people in them so I know we couldve sat there, and they sat me and my 2 friends by the large kitchen window in the back where there were 5 kids under the age of 6. It was so loud and constant crying and screaming. I dont know why three 24 year olds got sat next to loud screaming kids but we did. I was gonna ask to move but we got forgotten about! Wasnt until 15 minutes later we were asked by a blond in a colourful dress if we have been served yet. Nope. She didnt apologize she just walked away, eventually our server came out, nice young girl. Luckily by this time the kids were getting ready to leave but it was a bad start. Everything else was good, however it was a Saturday and the special was a Moscow Mule, I got one, menu said $12 but as a special its $10. Why did I get charged $13?? I didnt bring it up but I noticed and unfortunately had to tip accordingly. I usually tip 15 - 20% but that night I could only do about $8 for a $200 check. Biggest take away. Make sure to sit people where they will be happiest and noticed by a server. My friends and I were joking the rest of the night about it. Ill be back dont worry. But definitely one of the worst from one of the best places in bayers lake.

Nice place to eat, great atmosphere. More fish entrees needed!!!

Food was good, service was excellent and I was particularly impressed on the diligence the staff had towards someone with Celiac (severe gluten allergy) in our party. Atmosphere was on the loud side but this was during the dinner rush to to be expected at this type of restaurant.
