Station Six Food and Drink

Seemed to have went downhill. I went five years ago and remember really enjoying the food. I went yesterday and it was a different story. The truffle fries tasted like they were baked in an oven (no flavour, and soggy), my friends smoked meat sandwich had way too much mustard, my chicken pot pie was almost tasteless (ones you can get in the frozen food aisle taste way better). On the positive, my drink was nice and the waiter was fantastic (even though she just started working there). And the Caesar salad was good

I can not say enough great things about this place. The environment was great, the service was wonderful and the food was fantastic. I went with 4 of my girlfriends and we all got something different. Every dish was delicious, hot and fresh. What We loved it and will definitely be back!

My brother and I were asked if we had a reservation at 5:55pm on Sunday. When we responded that we didnt we were told that they were only serving reservations, even though the bar was empty as were all of the window booths. I asked if we could sit at the bar and was told do you already know what you want to eat? Will you be a quick in and out? I was confused as we hadnt see a menu. The server then said weve been here all day so were trying to close early. Early closing was not posted online anywhere. Very disheartened. Will not be back.
