I would not recommend working here as a monitor of any kind, it is a toxic environment. Based upon what my friend told me, I wouldn't want to. One of the female monitors will call her 'Diane' said to two different new monitor "If the kids start jumping on you while you're signing them in, it is okay to yell at them. Just yell at them and normally they listen to you." How can you tell at a child? And 'Diane' has been working there for 5 years?! The principal is never around and only goes off of what 'Diane' says because, she is seen as holy than thou. I honestly feel sorry for these children. All 'Diane' ever did while my friend was there, was yell at the children or ignore what the children were saying etc, except for when the principal or teacher was near by. My friend was the only one besides two other females, semi-kind (in my opinion), monitors who actually listened to them, played various games, etc with them. One day I went to go pick up my friend from there after work, I have never seen someone so kind, patient and understanding like her. 'Diane'... That monitor did everything to blame my friend for what 'Diane' did, not my friend; that monitor. From what I heard and seen myself, that boy toy of 'Diane' was no help either. I'm sorry she ever worked there, and those children loved her.
