        One of the oldest departments in the university and houses some of the world's most respected scientists like Prof.Jeff Dahn, who is do amazing research. You could also call it a mini-mecca for lithium ion battery research. I would definitely recommend a visit. The faculty are very helpful and want students to succeed in the real world, not just learn the fundamentals of physics. The buildings are old and could use renovation but it has this old vintage feel to it.
