Wendy and I bought a 12 X 16 cabin kit for our spot on the lake. I was a bit overwhelmed with the project but the team at Dow and Duggan gave me the support I needed to get the project finished. Great home with very professional company. All my questions and proposed changes were answered in a prompt and timely manner. I highly valued their transparency and the quality of the product. The builder was awesome, he and his crew were very skilled, customer focused and professional. I love my Dow and Duggan home and would have no problem whatsoever in considering g them if I ever wanted to build another. Great value, no unexpected surprises and a great product. I bought a Dow & Duggan log home for my own use 30 years ago. Since then, my small development company has built numerous homes of different types of construction, and I have re-established connection with the Dow & Duggan company to build my next home. Im returning to Dow & Duggan for several reasons. They provide excellent help with the initial planning, including detailed preliminary drawings. They use quality materials, and I especially like their laminated white pine logs which have minimal or no shrinkage. Their pre-cut package can be erected quickly, and I have the option of using my own construction crew. Most importantly, my original Dow & Duggan log home has lived up to all my expectations. I know from experience that a project as large as building a home can go sideways at some point, but no company can stay in business for over thirty years without providing a quality product and the service to back it up.
