Absolutely wonderful accommodations but the real amazing part about knotty pine is the staff, the gentleman we were in contact with was an absolute delight, they upgraded our cabin for no reason other than to give us a better experience and when there was no where else to get food in town due to a storm they went out of their way to make us some excellent dumplings for a very good price. Would definitely recommend staying here on your next trip to cape Smokey or along your trip threw the Cabot trail.

We had a really lovely four-night stay at Knotty Pine Cottages in January, in Cottage #5. The cottage was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed to cook and stay comfortable. The view across Ingonish Harbour is really gorgeous, and I spent a lot of time on our back deck watching the water and birds, in spite of the cold. David (who answered all my emails), was very responsive and friendly, and to top it off, after we had left, shipped us an item that we forgot. We highly recommend Knotty Pine Cottages to anyone looking for a beautiful, quiet stay in Ingonish, and it is quite possible that we will return (I hope so!)
