        This was the cheapest place in Cape Breton at the time of booking. This is a simple place, good to make for a home base, and does not pretend to be something its not. Personally, I wanted outdoor camping but did not realize the camping season would not start until we left, so this was an optimal alternative. It has everything you need and nothing you dont. The aging look adds to its charm. Check in and out are very simple. No unclear charges to call back about. The internet was out when we arrived but they were already there addressing it. This place is near some overlooks that get really dark, so its good for astrophotography- almost as good as Cherry Springs State Park in PA.
