        A very nice and maintained hiking trail. Healthy forest with a great challenging terrain profile. Sadly part of the trail was flooded, preventing deeper dwell.

        Wow! One of NS's best kept secrets - I was blown away by the trail network in this wilderness area. Only 1 1/2 hr. drive out of the city. Be careful - cell reception is spotty at best. Come here if you love old growth hardwood trees (think sugar maple, yellow birch) and enjoy the chorus of birdsong.
