My elderly cat is sick and struggling to eat recently. Several staff have helped pick out a few different cans of food that he might like based on texture, flavour, and smell. Some have even been accepted as offerings hahah. The return policy is great st the store, and you don't need a receipt if you have a phone number with them. I don't return open canned food, but have returned a nutrional gel that he hated. Great staff that are willing to hear you out and help you the best that they can.

I was very disappointed with my last visit to this store, It is common knowledge that a dog's food should not be changed so long as the dog is thriving on it. I had been feeding my dog Acana Healthy grains free-run poultry food, but when I went to purchase a new bag this store was completely out, not even a small bag in stock. And I was told it must have been discontinued. Well, I checked and this food has not been discontinued and I checked at another Pet Valu and they had it in stock. However, this other store was a further half hour's drive away, so I purchased the food recommended as a replacement over 2 weeks ago and my dog does not like it and only eats about 1/2 of what he should be eating. I will try him on Blue Buffalo which I can get at Sobeys.
