Gillespie House Inn

This is a wonderful bed and breakfast. The house is absolutely gorgeous and meticulously kept. The rooms are well decorated comfortable and quite large. Our bathroom had a separate soaking tub with a stand-in shower and was roomy. The bedroom area was well appointed with a fireplace and sconce lighting. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. The hosts David and Lori were very engaging, very friendly, and very welcoming. We had a choice of breakfast: eggs blueberry pancakes or french toast. Tables were nicely set in a beautiful dining room, and we were offered coffee tea and orange juice when we arrived there in the morning. Quality and quantity of food for breakfast was outstanding. The grounds are beautiful as well and well kept. Highly recommend.

Hosts Lori and Dave are exceptional. The Gillespie House is so inviting! A beautiful and serene property, inviting veranda, immaculately clean and well appointed rooms. We slept like babies in a 4 poster bed with a perfectly firm mattress and clean, crisp linens. Food is my husband's love language, and breakfast had him swooning! He had fluffy buckwheat blueberry pancakes, and I enjoyed scrambled eggs with multigrain toast. That was alongside coffee, tea, juice, fresh fruit with yogurt and granola and a homemade berry muffin. The Gillespie House is a treasure to Parrsboro. We only wish we had booked a second night!!

It was my first time at the Inn Maggie and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay . Laurie welcomed us with open arms and the rooms were very clean and the fresh linens were so inviting .The breakfast was delicious and even purchased there homemade jam and blueberry jam .We will certainly go back maybe order better weather .Thank you for a beautiful memory .
