We chose the Willow House Inn as a pit stop on our way to Cape Breton Island. We didnt expect it to be one of the BEST stays of our two week trip! Upon arrival, we were immediately greeted by Brenda & George - two of the nicest people you will ever meet! They showed us around the lovely inn, which is beautifully decorated and welcoming to guests. You can tell that the two of them love and care for their inn with all the personal touches which abound. By the end of our tour, we felt we had known them forever, they made us feel so welcome! They also gave wonderful recommendations of where to eat dinner, all of which are walking distance from the inn. We stayed in the Willow Room, which is quite spacious with plenty of room to spread out. The bed was amazing - extremely comfortable mattress and Brenda has chosen the softest sheets - it was like sleeping on a cloud. The beautiful bathroom had high quality towels. In the morning we woke to the smell of fresh muffins baking, which were on our breakfast table when we came down. The breakfast is generous and delicious. There was fresh fruit and yogurt to start, and then we were offered eggs cooked to our liking, served with bacon and toast. The fresh coffee was plentiful as well. There is also a keurig available to guests for early morning or afternoon coffee. They also have wine and beer glasses, as well as water in the fridge, available at all times. There is a lovely sitting area outside with porch swings and a view of the water. Our only regret is that we were only there for a one night stay! We hated to leave! If we ever return to that area, we will absolutely stay at the Willow House Inn again! Thank you Brenda and George for a fabulous stay!

The Willow House Inn, which is in a beautiful old house with lots of character, is lovely. As are the hosts, Brenda and George. We were in Pictou to attend a wedding and they accommodated a bit earlier than usual check in so that we could attend on time. Our room was spacious and comfortable as well as quiet. The next morning we were served the best complimentary breakfast weve ever had anywhere weve ever stayed. It was homemade and delicious. We were even given a tasty blueberry muffin to go. We highly recommend the Willow House. Thank you!

Super welcoming B&B with charm, hosts Brenda and George were amazing! They made us feel like family and were very attentive to details, making sure breakfast was exactly as we wanted it. Room was spacious and comfortable, and the inn is just steps away from the waterfront and main attractions. Great details within the house too - make sure you look up to admire the ceilings! Will definitely stay here again!
