list of grievances: - had to manually fill the toilet tank every time we used the toilet - no water pressure for showers - stove was disturbingly hot when not in use which made us question if it was safe - fridge door had to be wedged to stay closed - there were holes in most of the screened windows - the smell of perfumed air freshener and laundry detergent was so intense that one occupant had to sleep in the car because of allergies - the smell of mildew/mold and grime was very evident - the place was in need of a complete and thorough deep clean. it was unbelievable filthy. refund offered but not received.

Very good that we came upon this place because our ferry ride got cancelled. They had a cabin left and it's such a cute place! The heating may be lopsided, where it doesn't go into one of the rooms. But the cabin was still cozy! Had what we needed, including a stove, fridge, microwave, utensils. The appearance was a sweet country cabin, made of lovely wood! Some decorations to make it feel homey as well. All the utilities worked and there was good cable! Ha ha! I recommend the place to anyone, and the lady at the desk was pleasant as well, as brief as our encounter was.

Online this motel presents well and is priced right. But we were so very disappointed when we arrived. Everything about this motel said it is not being maintained - even the stone lion statue is tired-looking! This motel reminded us that you get what you pay for The furniture in our room was worn, the blinds were dirty and broken, not all of the electrical outlets were working - except the one by the toilet - and there wasnt an outlet by the bathroom sink / mirror, there were light bulbs missing or burned out in some fixtures, we could not get the microwave door open, the garden that we read our room looked out on was actually a patch of tall grass that had never been cut, the paint on the outside of the building was blistered and peeling and the porch was covered with debris - including cigarette butts. I recommend you do not stay at this motel! You will not get a good nights sleep and the owners do not warrant your support for providing indecent accommodation. And they make you pay the full price of your room before giving you the key to it!
