A very stream lined and affordable way to travel. Plan ahead, make sure you have called before 330 pm the day before, and you can travel from anywhere between port hawkesbury and inverness. For currently 7.5 dollars one way. The route goes back and forth all day, they will be so kind to drive to your doorstep, and are always polite and courteous. I rely on strait transit to travel to my job site in strathlorne. I have had a very good experience with them. 15 dollars there and back... it would cost that and more in gas had i driven myself. I have not tried dial a ride. Two thumps up! :)

Hitch hike for emergency drives. Otherwise you need to plan your emergencies 24 hours in advance. Not a transit service.

Very helpful service which helped me and my wife get to and from work while our car was unavailable for two weeks, life saving service for rural Canadians.

If you can get someone to answer the phone you're a lucky person.. you'd swear they're running a telethon and if you do end up getting their service you'll probably be left where you were dropped off.. I suggest finding any other source of transportation...
