Pugwash Farmers' Market

The Pugwash Farmers Market doesnt prioritize local farmers and doesnt think responding to accusations of classicism and ableism and worth their time to respond to. This is a classic example of how cooperatives become insular and no longer serve the communities they intend to. I am deeply disappointed by the application process and the response (or lack there of) I received from the market organizers. It is unacceptable for community organizations to conduct themselves in this matter and ignore concerns from the community. Perhaps they should rename themselves the pugwash arts & crafts market so that local farmers arent confused about what they are applying to. I found the market manager to be incredibly rude and dismissive of my concerns and I have yet to hear back about any of my complaints from the board. This is definitely a great way to make community members feel Welcome or included or valued at this community event. I really think the market needs to reassess its priorities to better serve the local community as it should be.

Drove from Moncton for a outdoor Christmas market. I really liked it. Worth the drive.
