Purchased a 12 ft dingy 10 years ago have had no issues still works great . I have continued purchasing different accessories over time for maintenance and some up grades . I am a picky client and I only have good things to say about Seabright Marine and Daniel Avis. Over 30 years I have owned/used a 10ft Zodiac, 10 ft Portabote, 12 ft aluminum boat, depending on how my needs evolved over time. I am familiar with the pros and cons of each hull design. This year I did a lot of research for my "dream boat": I wanted the lightest, largest inflatable boat I could get for fishing large lakes in calm weather. Most other manufacturers offered an 11ft10in model as their largest with an air floor. Seabright Marine hit the sweet spot for me with their 12ft6in model. At roughly 120lb for the hull and floor only, it is light enough for me to carry by myself in my SUV. The boat tracks well while slow trolling in light wind. The boat is very comfortable and quiet. With an electric motor, it lulls me to sleep. Quite the zen experience. The inflatable floor provides a comfortable surface to kneel while fighting fish, which provides added safety if a wake was to come during the fight. I believe that there is no better value than Seabright boats on the market right now. That is because Daniel has extensive experience in the industry and orders the boats with just the right features that deliver maximum value, in my opinion. I installed a grey rubber runner carpet over the airfloor, to protect it from grit. The hand pump that came with the boat is of high quality, and inflates my large boat quickly. A very satisfying purchasing experience, that will provide years of fishing in style. Thank you Daniel, for offering these boats on the Canadian market.
