Destiny Homes

Working with Destiny Homes was an excellent experience. Our project was a total renovation/rebuild which was completed while we were living out of the province. Destiny Homes kept in close contact throughout the work, keeping the project on budget and often making suggestions that enhanced the house which has become a home and haven.

Very Pleased with Destiny Homes We had our home build three years ago and we are very pleased with the quality of our construction as well as the value we received. We are a young family and we were on a tight budget at the time with concerns of overages based on stories we have heard from friends and families about other builders. Destiny Homes were very informative and the only overages we received were based on upgrades which we chose during the build and the cost of each item and the resultant cost of the overall build were identified and signed off by us so that we knew the changes we were making and what the impact would be. My wife and I were also concerned if we could handle the stress of building a home with everything else we had going on in life and we can both look back and can truly say we enjoyed the experience. We were involved as we wanted to be, we never felt like we were bothering them with our large numbers of questions and concerns throughout the build and they kept us very well informed as we went through this process. Likewise when I was away for work and not able to stop by the home, I had the confidence that we were in good hands and we truly did not have to monitor the build in any way, though we did enjoy being able to do so when we chose to. I had hopes of moving and doing another build with Destiny Homes, but my wife is so pleased with where we are and our home that we will be staying for a few years yet. Looking forward to having Destiny Homes back at the 10 year mark where I hope to do a few upgrades that we could not afford a the time as well as a second detached garage. Anyone that knows our experience agrees with us and recommends Destiny Homes as well. 5 out of 5 is not a review that I often give. Anyone who knows me would agree that I am inherently a very critical person, but I will give credit where credit is due. Destiny Homes built our family a beautiful home and also gave us a wonderful build experience that we will long reflect on as one of the highlights of our family story.

Worst experience ever. Aside from never being onsite, the owner, Greg Hammond took our money, but didn't use it to pay the trades and suppliers. There are now several liens on our property and the contractor has declared bankruptcy! Where did the money go? I believe the contractor to be a fraudster. The RCMP will hopefully lay charges against him.
