My gasbar did a favor for your Amherst rep last nite. He was allowed $140 diesel and was told to bring cash today. He refused to bring the cash today. No more favors.

After hitting a mammoth pothole before Fairfield rd on the 104 towards new Glasgow, it Damn near knocked one of the tires off on the 20ft trailer I was pulling, so I called for a tow truck through CAA and Murphys towing got back to me. As much as the price of $700 plus wasnt enough, the representative I spoke to had ZERO empathy or compassion and with his words, might as well said it was my fault for hitting the pothole because there was bumpy rd signs (which there wasnt). I just dont recommend this company because the people they employ are only after Money and heartless human beings. Not even an Im sorry to hear about that happening to you, just if you dont like the price, call someone else. If choosing zero stars was an option, I would have.

Asked me why my phone number was from Chicago, and then refused me service. FIRST OF ALL: None of your business. Are you a tow company? Are you available? That is ALL that matters. But since it's *such* an important detail for you to know (it's not): I used to live there. Now I live here. Phone plans are cheaper there, so I kept my plan. How is ANY OF THAT RELEVANT in any situation, let alone when I am stranded on the side of the highway and need a tow? Absolutely disgusted with the blatant discrimination I received last night, making an already extremely stressful situation so much worse. Thankfully the kind folks over at MacKenzie were happy to help me and take my money, and they went above and beyond to make sure that I was SAFE. Stay far away from Murphy's. Their abhorrent views on who should and should not be allowed to be in Nova Scotia should be more than enough reason to take your business elsewhere. ZERO STARS, and a call to the BBB.
