An old character home, whimsically decorated with old/antique items. I think that this was our best B&B so far on our trip to Nova Scotia. The house is downtown near the restaurants and walking paths. Our room was quite large and well equipped with all the conveniences. The breakfast was continental with a good selection of baked goods, breads, fruit, juices, yogurt and coffee. There was no set time for breakfast so you could get up early or sleep in late and still enjoy breakfast.

We were in Wolfville and the place we were originally going to stay at had no power. We called the locust & Starr and the owner answered their phone while they were on vacation and let us check in late! The accommodations were very comfortable and they had food for our breakfast and beers in our mini fridge! One thing to be aware of is that this is a very artistic house. It was very spooky coming in late at night, the house is very nice but spooky!

If you are looking for a hidden Gem in the middle of the city this is your place. Stayed one night but wished we could have stayed longer. Breakfast was great, fridge was extremely well stocked with lots of options for children .The room was huge and the bathroom amenities were more than you could ask for. Extremely clean, 5 minute walking distance from downtown. Would highly recommend this place if you are staying in Wolfville. The owner and manager were a pleasure to deal with.
