What an experience! Best part was we didn't have to leave Nova Scotia to find a quiet place to reconnect. Prior or arriving, 'easy to understand' directions/instructions were sent to us via email. Loved this! We arrived with ease to 'Orchard' which would be our home for the next 2 nights. This accessible chalet was very well laid out. The skylights let in ample light during the day and an amazing view of the stars as we laid in bed. The hottub was ready to go and perfect temperature when we arrived. The bbq had a full tank of propane as did the fire pit. There was no lack of preparation for our arrival! The bed was very cozy and we both slept in each morning. FibreOp allows you to stay connected and stream Netflix, YouTube and prime video amongst other things. The cabins are perfectly spaced out so that you don't interact or hear the other guests however a 'no noise policy' is in place incase there are guests who missed this info in the instruction guide. This location is adult only which is very important to working professionals like ourselves who are looking for a quiet space to spend time together. The soaps, shampoo and shower gels were easy on my sensitive skin. There was plenty of hot water for back to back showers and dishes. The heat pump took away the responsibility of babysitting a fire in a wood stove which was a nice change. The owner was such a great guy. We really enjoyed chatting and getting to know him. Looking forward to returning to Orchard in the winter months. Treat yourself, stay here.
