My wife, myself and two toddlers were moving from out of province last October and I contacted Melanie to represent us in finding a home. I needed someone who put honesty and professionalism above all else because I did not know the area very well and being we have 2 children, we needed a place that was child-friendly with amenities not too far away. We also had a fairly short timeframe to acquire a home as well a tighter budget. We had some other requests for our new home as well(larger lot, away from traffic, hopefully fenced). Difficult to find, especially in the past couple years. Melanie really took it personally to find us an excellent home for us and the little ones. We asked that she show us quite a few houses, and although discouraging, she was very honest(in a very professional way) about how they were impractical given our situation. After quite a few viewings, she found us our perfect home! It was difficult for us to gauge, since we were viewing through facetime(which doesnt exactly give you the same perspective as an in person viewing). You could tell when we found the one because Melanie was equally excited about it! She was extremely quick about getting all the paperwork done for an offer and advising us well about the market in the area. Overall we are equally if not more excited about our new home months after living in it!!:) So if you want someone knowledgeable, professional, and (most importantly) honest, Melanie wont disappoint.

We are a family that recently moved from Ontario and Melanie was our agent to search for a home in the Wolfville area. I cannot speak highly enough of her professionalism, thoroughness, knowledge of the area and integrity. She never rushed us and I could tell she was working for our best interest.
