Jandy Beresford, Breastfeeding and Babywearing Support

Jandy is incredibly knowledgeable and skilled. I wholeheartedly recommend her. With her support, both before and after our baby's arrival, I was able to overcome challenges with milk supply and latching to successfully breastfeed. Jandy was kind, patient, (and funny!) and created a safe environment to learn and be vulnerable- particularly important in those early days after birth. I really appreciated her ability to help me find solutions that worked best for me and my family. She really took the time to ask questions and understand what was most important to me. She is an excellent problem solver and offered solutions that were realistic, practical and didn't feel overwhelming for me as a new parent. Jandy is exceptional at what she does!

Jandy is amazing at what she does. Breastfeeding is a real art and she was able to help get me and my son on track early on. She showed us various techniques and stayed with us for a few feeds to make sure that we were successfully latching. She showed us how to correctly position our little guy and this has all lead to a way better feeding experience and no pain. She also provided some recommendations and referrals on other things to help that we would have never thought to ask about. She is super proactive at following up afterwards and providing whatever support is needed. I would highly recommend reaching out to Jandy if you plan to breastfeed. Reach out before your little one is born and she will make sure to be available as soon as you need her !

Jandy really helped us with our breastfeeding difficulties. We were able to get an appointment quickly for a home visit so that we could start working on our issues right away. Before she came we were using nipple shields, bottle feeding both formula and expressed milk and having a really hard time latching baby and a very painful latch. Things are going much better now. Everything has improved, we're not using nipple shields, I'm able to latch baby and we haven't had to give baby any formula in a while. She was amazing to work with and really helpful.
